It seems like this period is an update one at Nokia! After releasing new firmwares for the N79, the E52, E55 and 5730 Xpress Music, the Finnish Manufacturer now thinks about E63, E66 and E71 users by releasing a new firmware update for these devices. Nokia has released the same software for the three devices as they are quite similar in terms of system functionalities.

After starting to ship the long-awaited N900, Nokia has decided to release the X6 on European markets (UK at first). The device, that sells around € 450, has a particular focus on music as it ships with a "Comes with Music" unlimited music download plan. Therefore, this new phone is able to play music for about 35 hours and has an integrated 32 GB storage to let you carry all you music wherever you go.

Although modern devices are becoming touchscreen, Nokia has released two new design phones featuring a slide mechanism but no touchscreens. These new devices are very design-oriented and made for design-conscious people. They therefore look very trendy and are available in various fresh color. Both are expected for the first half of 2010 and are 3G quadband devices.

The popular Swedish music streaming service is now able to run on Symbian S60 devices thanks to a final and stable application. Released later than Android and iPhone software, this application can be downloaded on http://m.spotify.com and offers music steaming over 3G and WiFi but also downloading so that users can listen to their favorite tracks when having no network coverage. The bad point however, is that this application is only available to Premium users which are willing to pay € 9.99 per month in order to access the service. Nevertheless, it is possible to buy a €1 access in order to try the service and subscribe to the Premium version afterwards.
